Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences
at
McMaster University
and represents the cutting edge of Biophotonics Technology. The Facility was
opened in 2006 with funding from the
Canadian Foundation for Innovation and houses
the best in widefield, confocal, and high throughput microscopy systems, in
addition to high-content and high-throughput cell-sorting systems. The facility
is well equipped with both the expertise and the necessary equipment to quantify
steady state and lifetime of cellular fluorescence as well as fluorescence
fluctuation analysis.
